Twelve countries were represented during this event, a real success for the organizers.
Participants came from Netherlands, Finland, India, Indonesia, Sweden, France, Belgium and Poland, from the Dominion Republic, but also from Australia and Turkistan and of course from Germany. Many of then didn’t come especially for participating, but they soon got familiar with the games and joined us during these 10 days. A total of 498 people were present, 62 children or youngsters. 71 people were on a stand-by list and were waiting for a positive sign from the management to join our group, but that was impossible due a fully booked campsite. All activities had a great success but the main event was the nude running or walking, where I had the great honour to act as sponsor. 92 adults and 28 youngsters participated to this nude run or nude walking with a distance of
5 or 10 Km, depending on their individual choice. During this activity, 315€ were collected and forwarded to the DLRG (German-Life-Saving-Society). This society supervises the beaches during the whole main season at the Baltic Sea and elsewhere. Their delegates told use that this amount will be used to acquire a backpack with oxygen bottles for various applications. Thanks to Franz and his crew for organizing this competition. That was not very easy and thanks to Klaus and his 165 volunteers, who alternately prepared our evening meals and handled the drink shop. Thanks to Jeannine and her girlfriends for baking more than 400 waffles every evening. Thanks to Günther for supervising all the games and to Elke and Edgar for leaving this wonderful campsite at our disposal. Thanks to all participants who have contributed to the success of this event. Some of them already booked in advance for the next year. For the fifth time, the family meeting will be held the 20 to July 29, 2012 in the magnificent location of Rosenfelder-Strand in the north of Germany, by the Baltic Sea, in a country setting, a multitude of activities is proposed. The circus school is always of interest to the youngest but soccer, surfing, pétanque, manual workshops and bicycle trips also. Older people need not in rest because we have pétanque, a sauna or the library. Salsa courses attract a lot of participants also without counting a small organised excursion outside the beach and the strong point being the walk or race organised by Hans for the benefit of an charity association. 5 or 10 kilometres that you can take at your own pace in friendship and conviviality without the worry of a competition. To assist your strength, the small restaurant on the site even offers you breakfast where Klauss and his team produce small dishes or large. Also every evening, the snack bar under the tents hosts the summer disco. Don't forget also Thomas' famous " Bingo " held every evening in the same place. If you are lucky, you will also have the opportunity to slip once on the famous «rutschbahn» where the adults are not generally authorised. The NFN will be organising the 31st pétanque tournament of FNI-EUNAT from August 25 to 26, 2012. The site of the Hertogstad club Weteringstraat, 1 in ROSMALEN will receive us for this event. You must enrol via your federation or your sports officer person as soon as possible, they will be able to give you all information which you may need. Contrary to the common opinion, this tournament is always very convivial and the unbeatable champions are not normally part of the adversaries that must play. In view of the number of places on the other hand, some federations are obliged to organise national selections,so check this with your federation

The French federation (FFN) invites us to the official reception of the International Swimming Gala in Montluçon November 2,3 and 4, 2012. All swimming competitions, including the relays go together to form part of this aquatic day. So that each has a fair chance, 14 categories of swimmers, women men or children are open to try for a medal and the lucky ones will be on the rostrum. Sport being integral part of our lifestyle you can already start training for this competition which always attracts about 200 people, swimmers and accompanying supporters. On Saturday an official evening reception will complete the day and Sunday a visit is proposed for those who don't have too far to travel back home. This city being more or less in the middle of France, it is easily accessible from many countries. To participate in this event, make your arrangements via your national federation who will receive the program in the next days.
